SEPTEMBER
2005
TIP FOR THE MONTH
Hello, I'm pleased to announce
that my new training manual The Zane Body
will be ready for mailing by the end of September. It's a course anyone
can use, there's programs for beginners (the full body routine), to
intermediates and women (the 2 way split routine), the growth routine I used in
training for 1979 and 82 Mr. Olympias, the Zane Experience routine I teach in my
programs, and the pre contest routine to prepare for competition.
Nutritional information includes easy recipes to lose fat and build muscle,
using food supplements, how to diet for a contest; there's a section that
tells how to perfect your posing; how to prevent and heal injuries;
all about stretching. Everything is illustrated with well over a hundred
photos. Reserve your autographed copy now. The
Zane Body Training Manual is $16.95
+ $3 s&h.
Christine and I will be attending
the Mr. Olympia Competition at Orleans Casino Auditorium. Visit us at
booth 109 at the Olympia Expo October 14th and 15th at the Las Vegas Convention
Center. I'll have products for sale at special show prices and we'd love
to meet you so stop by. We are bringing a
brand new
Leg Blaster which you can purchase at a big discount. Here's how:
It will be on display Friday and Saturday, so show up with means to take it away
in your SUV or trunk of your car (the rack takes down) at 3 PM Saturday October
15th at the Vegas Convention Center. It's available to the first person
who calls me at 619-462-5300 and pays for it
with credit card in advance. Normally It would cost you $399 plus $90 shipping
and handling, but your special first come first serve price is
$300 total for the Leg Blaster (save $189!).
This is the first posting of this offer and we expect it to go fast, so call me
immediately if you want it.
My own training is going very well.
I lost a few months of leg work due to a torn calf muscle, but it has
miraculously healed (my calves have actually gotten bigger) and I've returned to
rigorous workouts. My strength keeps increasing and I've packed on some
muscle. Been doing less than 20 sets per workout in my 3 ways split
routine (did a total of 18 sets for torso today) with a lot of stretching
between sets. I'll take tomorrow off and relax, maybe begin working on my
tan (I start with a half hour of natural sunshine a day and work up to an hour,
being careful not to burn). The next day is abs (I'll do a total of 300
reps), thighs, and calves, plus 12 minutes of recumbent stationary bike.
And the very next day is arm work preceded by a few sets of lat and lateral
deltoid exercises, ending with abs and 12 minutes of treadmill. At my age
of 63 it's enough to help me get in shape and not over train. This is the
5 day cycle I'm using, "For muscle growth to thrive train 3 days out of 5".
You can read all about it in Zane Body Training Manual.
Good luck in your training and hope
to see you in Las Vegas!
